Consultant Paediatrician
Dr Reena Ho is a Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in a wide range of paediatric conditions. She graduated from the University of Auckland and completed her Specialist training in Paediatrics in New Zealand and Victoria, Australia. She is a Fellow of the Child Health Division of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr Ho spent her early postgraduate years in New Plymouth, and then moved back to Auckland in 2009 to embark on her specialist career in Paediatrics. Dr Ho worked across Auckland hospitals and gained extensive experience in numerous paediatric specialties before completing her rural general paediatric fellowship in LaTrobe Regional Hospital, Victoria in 2016. She returned to New Zealand in 2017 to develop a special interest in allergy and immunology. Dr Ho also works as a Consultant Paediatrician in General Paediatrics at Starship Children’s Hospital delivering acute and long-term care for children with complex medical conditions. She has also cultivated an interest in eczema and other skin conditions having worked in the Starship dermatology clinics.
Dr Ho is proficient in a few languages: English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bahasa.

How do I make an appointment?
Ask your family doctor to make a referral to Dr Reena Ho. Referrals can be emailed to admin@DrRsKidsClinic.co.nz
Can I self-refer?
Self-referrals will only be accepted at Dr Ho’s discretion on a case by case basis. A referral from your family doctor may still be required after discussing your concerns with you.
How do I claim insurance cover for my consultation?
A: Southern Cross Hospital Insurance Patients
Dr Ho is an Affiliated Provider with Southern Cross Insurance. If you wish to have your consultation covered by Southern Cross according to your policy, please let us know when making your appointment and have your membership number ready. We can apply for Prior Approval with Southern Cross before your appointment, alternatively you can make a claim using the receipt issued upon payment at your appointment.
A: All Other Insurance Policies
We require you to pay in full at the time of your consultation, and we will issue you with a receipt which you can use to claim from your insurance company.
Am I able to change a scheduled appointment?
A: Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule your appointment. Please note our 24-hour cancellation policy that any appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be subject to the full consultation fee.
